Facing Adversity in Dallas Public Schools
Facing Adversity in Dallas Public Schools
The need for strong student leaders is particularly critical in lower-income, socioeconomically disadvantaged Dallas communities. Many talented young people from these areas, despite their potential, lack access to the resources and guidance they deserve. This gap between potential and opportunity for some of Dallas' most disadvantaged youth fuels the mission of CAMP AHA.
Our Mission
To empower student leaders from the most disadvantaged backgrounds in Dallas with the knowledge, resources, and mentorship necessary to become successful adults who are passionate about service and community.
Our Vision
We envision a future where Dallas thrives with a network of empowered student leaders, especially those who have overcome significant challenges, who are shaping positive change in their schools and communities.
